Congratulations to long standing Freeport Players Guild member Kay Hardy who received the Queen's Honour on Thursday January 28th for her achievements in education and the performing arts from the Governor General, Sir Arthur Hanna. Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham, also praised the recipients for their achievements.
Kay traveled to Nassau for the ceremony with daughter and son-in-law Sarah & Nigel Kirkby, and grandchildren Gareth and Tara, who were all suitably attired for such a prestigious occasion. Miss Tara even got to shake the PM's hand!
Congratulations Kay on a well-deserved honour! Click on the photo to view larger version.
